It can quickly detect the micro area transmittance of specific 2D and 2.5D areas for various mobile phones and tablet screens.
Research background

The current industry standard is that all test points of each panel need to be fully inspected. For domestic manufacturers, the testing demand for the ink IR hole and the transmittance of the mobile phone panel should be at least 8 billion times (2 ink holes and 6 panel transmittance), This type of test will have great market potential.
application area
This time, we introduce a rapid detection system for micro area transmittance in specific 2D and 2.5D areas of various mobile phones and tablet screens.
The current application scenario of this system mainly focuses on the production test of mobile phone panel, tablet computer panel and the transmittance test of various small-size optical filters. Having said so much, many people may have questions. What is the ink IR hole mentioned above? What is the importance of the transmittance that has been talked about?
What is ink IR hole?
The IR ink hole we refer to here is actually the black dot area near the earpiece on the mobile phone or tablet. In the screen of this area, ink is added after special treatment, so that the optical transmittance here can filter out visible light and ultraviolet light, and make the light of infrared wavelength pass through normally. Through the transmitted light, the sensor under the screen can normally identify the distance and the environment, so that the mobile phone can automatically adjust the brightness with the change of ambient light, or automatically turn off the screen when answering the phone. Of course, this is only the most basic application. Manufacturers may have different application methods for different conditions and environments.
What is transmittance?
Transmittance refers to the ability of light to pass through a medium. It is the percentage of the luminous flux passing through a transparent or translucent body and its incident luminous flux. When the parallel monochromatic light passes through a uniform and non scattering medium, part of the light is absorbed, part passes through the medium, and part is reflected by the surface of the medium. The transmittance can represent the light transmission efficiency of a display device or the like. The value of light transmittance is percentage, and the value range is 0 ~ 100%. If the light is completely absorbed by the medium, it = 0, t = 0. If the light is fully transparent, it = I0, t = 100%.
Test principle
The system uses its own high-power tungsten lamp as the light source. After focusing through the objective lens, it is hit on the surface of the sample. Through the integrating sphere at the bottom of the sample, the transmitted light is recovered and homogenized, and then input into the spectrometer. The light received by the integrating sphere is quickly analyzed by the spectrometer.
For transmittance detection, the maximum detection limit can reach 0.01%. With this system, it can not only analyze and detect the transmittance trend, but also accurately and quickly detect all kinds of samples.
Compared with similar products in the market, most of them use imported core devices, such as ocean optical spectrometer or evantis spectrometer; As a spectrometer manufacturer of the same level in China, Ruhai optoelectronics has independently developed this micro area transmittance system on the basis of having optical fiber spectrometer as the core technology, which can achieve the full independent research, development and production of the test system on the basis of complete self-research.
